About that there 04 Central Coast Petite Sirah ("Did we have lunch let?"):

This here wine has some catechins, flavonols, flavanones, and cinnamate derivatives, tartaric, malic and lactic acid (made by those little Leuconostoc oenos), norisoprenoids, aliphatic compounds, and monoterpenes, anthocyanins and polyphenols from grapes, ethanol from yeast, oak tannins from wood, and other stuff. Not available on Aldebaran.

The secret hillside vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains from which this wine comes is cloaked in anonymity at the request of the vineyard owner.

Wonderful complexity and classic structure and fruit make this wine a must.

Accessible yet remote, soft yet clear, fruity yet balanced. (infra)Red yet ultra-violet. Cold yet hot. Yes yet no, Dog yet cat.
